Linux Systems Administrator

As a Linux Systems Administrator at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities crucial to the smooth functioning of our IT systems. You will be tasked with performing systems administration on server systems connected to local and wide area networks, ensuring they are operating efficiently and securely. This includes providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, as well as managing the infrastructure and processes related to these systems.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience
• Advanced degree(s) may substitute for year(s) of experience
• Six (6) years of experience without a degree

Required Qualifications: ​

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly
• Experience configuring and managing LINUX operating systems
• Experience investigating and resolving technical issues
• Active Security certification or other IAT level 2 certifications

Desired Qualifications: ​

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
• Strong PaaS experience
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Experience using with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with DevOps pipeline and optimizing code.
• Knowledge of Ruby and/or Python
• Knowledge of Docker or other container tools.

Telework Availability: limited telework is available but must be able to work at corporate and/or customer site

Summary Pay Range:
