Paralegal with Collections Experience

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal with Collections Experience to join our legal team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing collections efforts while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain collections processes, including tracking and monitoring accounts receivable.

· Conduct legal research related to debt collection laws and regulations.

· Draft and prepare legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, and motions.

· Communicate with clients, debtors, and other parties involved in the collections process.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collections activities.

· Handle a debt collection caseload as assigned.

· Assist attorneys in preparation for debtor exams.

· Experience with West Law/Lexis Nexis.

· Has a positive attitude and willingness to help, learn and grow.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrated team player.

· Ability to run multiple projects on parallel tracks.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Detail oriented.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in collections, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.

· Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in relevant software and technology.

Salary : 60K-80K
