Food and Beverage Description The Cook position prepares and cooks a variety of menu items for guests to enjoy while at Bogus Basin.
**Essential Functions of the Job**
* Accurately and efficiently prepare and cook menu items.
* Abide by rules and regulations of local and federal health codes, as well as those of Bogus Basin
* Maintain a clean work area and assist with cleaning other areas of the Food and Beverage department.
* Maintain a professional attitude towards guests and staff.
* Assist guests with any questions or problems that they may have, if unable to provide assistance, seek help of supervisor and/or manager.
* Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions or situations while on premise.
**Non-Essential Functions of the Job**
* Perform other related tasks, as necessary.
Requirements
* Cooking and or restaurant knowledge and experience helpful.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Employee is frequently required to reach and/or balance with arms and hands, and to walk and/or stand for lengthy periods of time.
* Manual dexterity required to handle kitchen utensils.
* Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
* Employee will occasionally lift, move and/or support 35 lbs.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
**Working Conditions**
* Restaurant environment; both indoors and outdoors.
* May be exposed to inclement weather.
