Field Overhead Crane Service Technician

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Maintains crane operation by conducting periodic inspections, completing preventive maintenance requirements, and identifying and repairing according to OSHA, ANSI, and Mfg standards.

· Repairs and upgrades to overhead cranes by troubleshooting description of malfunction, conducting tests, and identifying problems and resolutions. This troubleshooting will be on mechanical and electrical components

· Active communication with customers and office staff

· Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

· Comfortable working at heights, occasional overtime & off shift work, and invaried working conditions.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements:

• Education:

o Associates or equal technical training

• Experience:

o 3 years experience in a Mechanic/Automotive environment required.

• Required Skills:

o Advanced electrical knowledge & experience of high voltage electrical, strong mechanical capabilities, good driving record, ability to make decisions, problem solving skills, self-motivated, and quality focused.

o Must have good organization and planning skills, and be able to demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation of past work.

o Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.

o Has experience using Email, android operating systems

o Full driver’s license.

o Must pass background check and be able to work in a drug free environment.

o Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Travel Requirements:

o 80 - 100% Travel Required

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
