This is an on-site position. Applicants must be local to Columbus, Ohio.

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our company, managing front desk activities and providing administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. As an integral part of our team, you will ensure smooth office operations and contribute to a positive work environment.

This full-time, in-office position will initially split time between our current office in Downtown Columbus and our new office in Dublin, OH. The Office Manager will assist in the transition to the new office and the wind-down of the former office space.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new office policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and organized office, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Manage the reception area, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and office organization.
  • Manage conference room calendars and provide in-office support for meetings and events.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Work with IT to ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 to 6 years proven experience as an office manager, receptionist, or in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, (up to 8 hours per day) at a desk working on a computer.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the corporate office.

The national salary range for this role is $51,500 to $98,300. The expected starting salary range for this role at Bold Penguin is $55,000 to $75,000.
