Bollinger Shipyards is seeking a Business and Tax Incentives Coordinator to join its team.

Basic Function : Coordinates all aspects of business incentives, tax credits, sales / use taxes, and property taxes for each state in which the Company operates or otherwise could provide benefit to Bollinger.

Also includes identification and capturing of both existing and new opportunities in all State generated incentive programs available to the Company related to employment, capital, relocation, etc.

Responsibilities : Responsible for all business incentives and follow through of processes including managing deadlines to ensure proper accountability, maintaining contacts with respective economic development and / or civic associations for State incentives, attending local / regional meetings involving business and tax incentives, performing research on various tax laws (i.

Requirements : Minimum of 2 years of experience within an accounting or related role. Candidate must be a quick learner with strong analytical, research, organization in addition to good communication skills.

Must be able to multi-task and work well in a deadline driven environment. Must have basic computer skills and be proficient in using MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field and ability to travel is required. Tax or auditing experience is preferred.
