Multi-Modality Tech 2 – Clermont Hospital Weekend Option Premium 24 hours/week Nights Job Summary:The primary responsibility of a Multi-Modality Technologist is to perform and produce images for any combination of 2 procedures with related techniques, such as CT, XR, or MRI.

Multi-Modality Tech 2 – Clermont Hospital Weekend Option Premium 24 hours/week Nights Job Summary:The primary responsibility of a Multi-Modality Technologist is to perform and produce images for any combination of 2 procedures with related techniques, such as CT, XR, or MRI.
Essential Functions:
- Performs duties for any 2 imaging modalities, such as XR, CT, MRI, ARRT or RDMS.
- Safely operate equipment and accessories to minimize risk of patient and equipment.
- Selecting appropriate imaging and sequences in alignment with multiple factors.
- Knowledge in workflows, procedures, and processes of the imaging modalities.
- Perform venipuncture including starting, maintaining, and removing intravenous access.
- Provides radiation protection and other protection specific to the modalities.
- Obtain and verify the patient clinical history and lab work.
- Use of POC device for Lab work.
- Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute for an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an approved School of Ultrasound/Medical Sonography (preferred)
- Associate of Applied Science in Imaging (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred)
- State Licensure Certification (preferred or required by the state where the job is being performed)
- Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT (required)
- Required to be competent in 2 of the following and obtain certification within 12 months:
- Radiologic Technology (R)
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- 1 year of experience in healthcare environment (preferred)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
- Picture archiving communication system (PACS) (preferred)
- Radiology Information System (RIS) (preferred)
- IV Contrast Administration (preferred)
