One of our clients - a Global freight forwarding company is currently looking for an Ocean Logistics Coordinator. This position pays $41.5K-66.8K based on skills and experience. 

Position Summary: 

The Ocean Export Agent handles the accurate and timely operations of shipment lifecycle for their assigned accounts, ensuring customer requirements are met via daily communication, reporting, and email management. 

Responsibilities: 

• Communicate effectively and timely with international branches and transportation companies throughout movement of shipment 

• Understand the required processes, documentation, terminology, and billing procedure for assigned accounts 

• Create, maintain, and update shipment data in company system 

• Builds great relationships with and resolve issues for customers 

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external entities 

• May be responsible for special shipments/accounts involving perishables 

• Communicate issues to management 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 3 years of logistics operations experience required 

• Knowledge space configurations, container loads, loading constraints a plus

• Certificate for handling hazardous materials a plus

• Understanding of international and domestic OAG a plus 

• Strong communication Skill in English (compose professional communications, understand detailed instructions) 

• Ability to multi-task successfully and adapt to changes quickly 

• Professional demeanor with strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills

• Experience using Microsoft software applications
