Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a dynamic Am 200 full-service law firm of more than 300 attorneys with 15 offices that are located across New York State, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL and NJ, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for our NYC or White Plains, NY office.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in traditional labor law & employment law.

Location(s): New York, NY or White Plains, NY/Hybrid Work Arrangement Possible

Skills and Educational Requirements:

• Admitted to practice in New York State, including admission to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York
• J.D. degree from accredited law school
• The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience advising employers on Federal and New York State labor and employment law matters, and/or litigating civil claims in federal and New York State courts
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and promptly respond to client’s needs
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Committed to legal profession and teamwork approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with the NLRB and other federal and state administrative agencies

The salary range for this role at the Associate level is $125,000 - $180,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set and office location.
