Full Time Staff Accountant
A Staff Accountant at Bonn, Dioguardi & Ray is a critical thinking, reliable individual who will prepare tax returns for both individuals and businesses, as well as assist with audit and review engagements and financial statement preparation. Staff Accountants will also assist with bookkeeping and growing a relationship with clients. At our firm, Staff Accountants communicate with firm partners daily to update them on the status of projects, client engagement, and engage in new projects.
Our ideal Staff Accountant is enrolled in/has a master's degree in accounting and located in Rochester, NY. Only a bachelor's degree is required, but a master's degree is preferred. Applicants on track to receive their CPA are welcomed, but not required. No prior accounting experience is necessary, but is welcomed. Our firm will assist in training and providing the necessary support to grow as a professional!
Additional requirements:
-Capable of working in office daily
-Ability to travel off-site to clients
-Availability for longer hours from January to April during tax season, or as required
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks is preferred
-Professional verbal and written communication skills
