As a Technical Services Controls Technician, reporting to the Senior Controls Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various control systems used in industrial and commercial environments. These control systems include but are but are not limited to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other related technologies. You will play a crucial role in maximizing operational efficiency and safety within the organization by monitoring and managing these control systems.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, with emergency on-call coverage required for unplanned equipment failures in the position’s area of technical skills. This position will also require working varying levels of overtime and varying levels of weekend work to support various plant projects and equipment startups.
SKILL EMPHASIS: Electrical, Auto Cad, PLC Programming, HMI Programming, RS View & RS Linx Applications, Electronics, MS Office Skills, Project Management and Training Skills.
