This person has the proven ability to balance the out of the box creativity of master planning with the precision and attention to detail required for technical construction documents. Individuals must possess top-notch project management, graphic and communication skills. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, accountable, and committed to excellent client service.
Responsibilities
Actively advance Bonnett Design Group’s mission, goals and objectives. Help the company reach specific Marketing, Project Planning and Design and Administrative objectives.
Manage Landscape Architectural project resources, including client relations, project design and execution of documents.
Planning and Design
· Understand and practice project management procedures for active projects
· Actively maintain planning, design and documentation resources
· Understand project revenue budgets and performance forecasts
Work diligently on planning and design studio assignments to meet schedules and deadlines
· Delegate and manage project tasks with associates and junior associates
Marketing
· Promote client satisfaction through timely, accurate, creative and enthusiastic execution of assignments
· Understand the characteristics of our clients and the markets we serve
· Participate in Florida Chapter ASLA, Florida Chapter CNU, or other professional/community organization
· Assist with the identification and refinement of project collateral for proposals, displays or award submittals
· Assist in the preparation of fee estimates and proposals
· Support company goodwill efforts by assisting with and participating in company activities and special events
· Look for opportunities to up sell and cross sell Bonnett Design Group services
Administrative
· Mentor junior staff members
· Maintain campus and professional contacts to benefit future recruiting efforts
· Participate in studio meetings
· Understand and follow personnel, purchasing and credit policies
· Protect confidential client, project and corporate information
· Maintain accurate and timely timesheets and expense reports
· Invest a minimum 2,200 hours per year approximately as follows:
o 70-80% Project Planning and Design
o 5-15% Marketing
o 10-15% Administrative (non-project) support
Qualifications
· BSLA or BLA degree, Registered Landscape Architect or actively pursuing registration
· A minimum 7 years experience
· Professional and client references
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional Suite, AutoCAD
