The Winder Operator role in Scarborough, ME, encompasses operating machinery to convert and package paper rolls according to customer specifications. This position operates on a DuPont schedule with 12-hour shifts, both day and overnight, and includes 13 weeks of paid time off annually.

Winder Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment for the conversion and packaging of paper rolls.

• Utilize computer systems to track production progress, update inventory records, and label finished products accurately.

• Obtain proper licensing to operate Industrial Trucks and responsibly handle these vehicles after acquiring the necessary qualifications.

• Adhere to quality requirements to ensure all products meet or exceed specified standards.

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and promptly communicate any major issues to supervisors or shift leaders.

• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
