If so, we want you to join our team as an Associate Veterinarian! The position is part-time or full-time and open to both experienced veterinarians as well as recent graduates. Mentorship will be happily provided.
Bonsack Veterinary Hospital is a single-doctor, privately owned practice in Botetourt County, Virginia. Beginning in 2020, Dr. Sonya Etter became the sole owner of the practice which has been serving the community since 1988. The business is poised for growth so as to better serve our clients.

**Qualifications:**
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia and in good-standing.
- Have a current DEA license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate care to our patients and their families.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Stay informed about advances in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
