Key Role:
Support the project team in developing and implementing innovative strategic communications and outreach programs and initiatives designed to engage program members, government partners, and stakeholders proactively. Develop informational materials for internal or external audiences, emphasizing creating videos and other multimedia products. Interview subject matter experts, program leadership, and client representatives, and develop an original approach for each storyline. Leverage video products to facilitate collaboration and share information across organizational and geographical boundaries. Conceptualize original and creative story ideas while working with the communications team. Shoot b-roll, conduct on-camera interviews with subject matter experts, and edit and produce varying-length video packages within short deadlines. Develop content with the program communications plan and provide multimedia and written contributions to program newsletters and other communications products. Develop informational materials for internal or external audiences emphasizing support to team members and stakeholders in creating videos and other multimedia products.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience with communications, media production, or marketing communications
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, InDesign, or Photoshop
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and Mac operating system
Experience working on graphic design projects and creative direction assignments
Experience with a third-party message distribution system, such as Poppulo
Experience with writing and editing material in a journalistic style
Experience in the video production process
Ability to develop new communication methods to reach target audiences, and collaborate on content creation, storyboard development, and video development concept process
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with the military or government contract
Experience with multimedia and graphic design layouts related to strategic communication products
Experience with various types of multimedia equipment, such as cameras, audio recorder, teleprompter, portable cameras, and lighting equipment
Experience with top executives and senior leaders to translate ideas and concepts into professional communication products, presentations, articles, messaging to staff, and similar communication products
Experience with data visualization and infographic production
Experience developing multimedia products, brand management guidelines, and development of products that adhere to 508 compliance
Experience in working with audio products or producing audio pieces
Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
Ability to gather information and synthesize it into client-ready deliverables
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
