Security Cooperation Logistics Operations Specialist

The Opportunity:

Are you searching for a position where you can use your logistics analysis skills to make a difference? A program requires a significant investment of limited resources across multiple projects. With that level of complexity, you need a skilled logistics analyst to examine how those resources are used and keep the program on the path to success. That’s why we need you, an experienced security cooperation logistics operations specialist, who can ensure success through management, careful analysis, and effective communication.

We have an opportunity for a Security Cooperation Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team as we support international initiatives to a managing supply chains in foreign countries, including working with customs to clear material, understand VAT rules and last mile supply. In this role, you’ll directly support logistics program managers by leading the planning and presentations for working groups, logistics readiness reviews, and key integrated logistic support engagements. You’ll also serve in a lead role alongside program leadership to drive and achieve logistics support objectives, including life cycle support, configuration data management, reliability, maintainability, and availability, interfacing with technology insertions, new development, and major upgrades. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. This is a chance to directly impact DoD Security Cooperation initiatives while learning how to develop program strategy and eliminate risks across projects. You Have:

  • Experience with managing supply chains in foreign countries, including working with customs to clear material, understand VAT rules and last mile supply

  • Experience with Logistics Asset management IT tools

  • Experience with Operational Logistics operating in EUCOM and PACOM theater

  • Ability to manage contractual asset management, visibility and accountability while in transit

  • Ability to deliver material for accountability transfer and contract delivery for close out

  • Ability to work with technical team for asset turnover and installation

  • Ability to work with transportation providers and host nations to ensure delivery clear from pilferage

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and metrics to Security Cooperation and DoD customers

  • Experience with Defense Security Cooperation University logistics training

  • Experience with US Army Logistics Asset management IT tools

  • Experience with maintaining ship configuration data, technical documentation, material staging, and material packaging handling storage or transportation

  • Ability to manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment independently and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
