UX Strategist

The Opportunity:

As an UX Strategist, you put yourself in the user’s place and design the best way for them to engage with the tool. In this role, you’ll work closely with the product manager on your team to understand your client's vision and their user's needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll build skills in designing large-scale digital experiences that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing.

You’ll be involved with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research. You’ll advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

You Have:

• 2 years of experience as a UX designer in a professional work environment

• Experience with creating and documenting information design concepts and solutions, including wireframes, personas, prototypes, and task flow diagrams

• Experience with modern wireframing tools, especially Sketch or Axure

• Experience with usability testing, including preparing test plans and associated wireframes, facilitating test sessions, analyzing data, and reporting results

• Experience facilitating design studios, group feedback sessions, or workshops with multiple stakeholder groups

• Knowledge of planning and conducting UX research activities, including interviews, surveys, or card sorting

• Ability to display a portfolio showcasing broad UX design competencies

• Ability to pay attention to detail

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
