Overview :
The Shipping Worker for the Case Dock will supply empty cases to the plant to maintain / improve efficiency standards.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must be organized and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evening, nights)
Must maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must be able to stand / walk on your feet constantly during your shift.
Ability to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backwards.
Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
Must be able to work outside and be exposed to the outside weather / temperature conditions.
Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
Responsibilities :
Empty cases from the trailers while stacking the empty pallets and then washing the trailer out.
Keep work area neat and clean at all times during the shift.
Clean the case washers on a daily basis to ensure the proper cleaning of cases being supplied to the plant.
Check and document the case washer temperature.
Check and document cleaning solution concentration at least once per shift according to the Master Sanitation schedule.
Complete all assigned paperwork.
