Bordenave’s French Bread Bakery is a beautiful bakery located in San Rafael. We are family owned/operated, serving the highest quality sourdough and other artisan bread and have been doing so for over 100 years.

A strong personal commitment is necessary to complete the training process.

We are looking for individuals who possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We prefer someone with prior customer service experience in taking and fulfilling client orders correctly and efficiently.

KNOWLEDGE:

You will be expected to learn the following during the training process:

• Thoroughly understand and perform all duties assigned to you by our management team
• Use good manners and mature judgment in dealing with guests in all situations
• Working knowledge and service of bread category

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Overseeing order desk
• Enter and update customer information in the database accurately
• Taking and returning client phone calls, texts and emails
• Analyze customer accounts to identify opportunities for up selling and cross-selling
• Maintain high performance of service and courtesy
• Satisfy guest complaints promptly, politely, and quietly
• Duties to be performed as assigned by your management team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess good verbal and language skills to understand and communicate with clients and other team members
• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
• Be able to work in a standing/sitting position for long periods of time (up to 4 hours at a time)
• Be able to safely maneuver up to 25 pounds

UNIFORM CODE:

You must present yourself in a neat, clean, professional manner (clean dress each shift, clean well-trimmed nails, good personal hygiene, no gum chewing while on duty, etc.)

We are looking for someone who can work Monday - Saturday 9am-4pm (with breaks), Saturday a must and some holidays.
