Overview
The successful candidate will receive a head coach stipend, any assistant coaching stipends for additional sports (if appicable), and compensation for additional days on contract.
- Work with the Athletic Director to provide direction guidance for the entire wrestling program Grades 7 through 12
- Provide student/athletes with an opportunity to participate in a successful wrestling program
- Provide high quality instruction and skill development for all student/athletes in the wrestling program
- Promote student/athlete participation in the wrestling program at all levels
- Supervise assistant wrestling coaches and provide professional development and oppotunities for growth
- Establish and maintain a collaborative coaching environment
- Establish and maintain a positive line of communication with student/athletes, parents, coaches, faculty, administrators and the community
- Provide rigorous classroom instruction in the assigned content subject area
- Understand U.I.L. Rules and Regulations
