BorgWarner is Hiring a Production operator Near Ithaca, NY
BorgWarner Morse Systems is the world leader in automotive chain systems for engine timing and power transmission / torque transfer.
The Ithaca division is located on Warren Road in Ithaca and has been in this region for over a century. We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift production operators at this unionized manufacturing location.

They should also possess strong work ethic with a focus on safety, environmental standards, and quality while exhibiting a positive attitude.
We have openings in many areas including, but not limited to chain manufacturers, machinists, press operators, heat treaters, material storekeepers, and tensioners.
Education / Experience :
Manufacturing and mechanical experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidates
Experience working in an manufacturing environment is helpful
These openings are for 2nd shift (3pm 11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm 7am), with occasional weekend openings
Must have the ability to communicate effectively using oral and written methods, as well as understand written instructions
Some computer proficiency is required for training and accessing / entering production information
Basic math and measurement skills required
Safety and Environmental Impact are important to us, so adherance to our policies and procedures is critical
Ability to work as part of a team or independently is desired
