BornFree Wellness Centers of America LLC, a private Medications for Opioid Use Disorder Outpatient Treatment Program (MOUD-OPT), is actively seeking full-time Substance Abuse Counselors to join our dynamic team. Our team consists of highly skilled medical and substance abuse professionals who are committed to helping individuals overcome various forms of addiction, including alcohol, drugs, and behavioral issues. Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified Behavioral Healthcare Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide clinical counseling services to patients with OUD or SUD. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and support patients on their recovery journey.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Provide counseling and psychotherapy to patients, addressing issues related to addiction, mental health, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with medical providers to ensure integrated care for patients receiving MOUD MAT.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all interactions accurately.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery, and coping strategies.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have an active certification, credentials or licensure from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. We are seeking counselors with the following credentials.

CAC-AD (with Board-Approved Supervisor letter) or CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or AD-T

Additional Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of substance abuse/addiction behavioral health issues.
• One year addiction counseling experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in developing comprehensive documentation.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
• Positive and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using computers and clinical/patient management software; experience with Methasoft is a plus.

Compensation:

Compensation for Substance Abuse Counselors ranges from $20.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on individual experience, skills, and credential level. Compensation will be determined during the interview process.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 05:45 AM – 12:45 PM
• Weekends: Rotating schedule, Saturday only, 06:45 AM – 09:45 AM

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and higher education

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of addiction counseling experience (Preferred)
• Substance abuse counseling experience (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• AD-T, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LCADC LGADC, LCPC, LBSW, LMSW, LCSW (Required)

Work Location:

• On-site
• Remote Flexibility (where feasable)
