Job Description
- Responsible for arranging and coordinating carrier pickups and all accompanying required paperwork
- Investigate overages/shortages and proofs for payments as required
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments and provide documents for proof of deliver as required
- Establishing open and transparent communication channels with carriers, ensuring regular updates, addressing queries, and fostering a collaborative partnership
- May also be required to work trucker's window, schedule return goods authorizations (RGAs), monitor the shipping yard, creating bill of ladings (BOL) in Papervision and several other miscellaneous duties
- Lead all aspects of staging and loading to the correct carriers
- Entering data on multiple customers' websites
- Generate Reports as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office is expected along with SAP and DLX or similar Warehouse Management System experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to influence and work effectively with all levels of management and be cross-functional in the facility.
- Traffic/Shipping background
- High school diploma required
