Precision Talent Solutions is Hiring a Business Development Manager with Security Clearance Near Washington, DC

Our client is a leading global risk management company with a strong focus on Africa. They specialize in delivering comprehensive land and offshore security services, ensuring the safety of their clients' people and assets. With a commitment to enabling business operations in Africa through innovative solutions, expertise, and exceptional service delivery, they consistently prioritize excellence. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a well-established UK-based client network to join their team. This role will involve driving business development within the UK market for clients looking to explore opportunities in Africa and beyond. Responsibilities: Identifying, researching, and analyzing business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long-range and strategic plans.
Operational experience on these programs may serve as a suitable substitute for business development experience.
Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts.
Participates in development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and overseeing and controlling the business development budget and forecasts for large opportunities.
Responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
Develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases.
Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices and leads white paper and RFI responses. Qualifications: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in U.S. business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the security and risk management industry.
Proven experience shaping, bidding and winning opportunities as a subcontractor and as a prime.
Proven experience capturing new business pursuits of $20M and above.
Degree from accredited university
Relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
