Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Windchill PLM Technical Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the successful delivery and support of Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions within an SAP environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLM systems, ERP integration, and will have worked with outsourced delivery teams. You will work with the global procurement, logistics and trade compliance teams and assist and train other members of the team. You will work closely with the business partners (product owners and SMEs), review requests, work with business to help prioritize requests and assign them to the proper resources in the team. You’ll be accountable for reviewing and approving documentation of processes and configuration, PLM system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, leading User Acceptance testing activities with offshore teams, and ensuring that proper IT Change Control and Project Management processes are adhered to. You will be highly experienced in product lifecycle management. You will act as a technical expert and hands-on configurator and will have also had a broad understanding of large-scale ERP systems. You should have implementation experience with a global consumer electronics company or high-tech company, and understand both systems configuration, and overall systems architecture in an enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Self-starter who demonstrates creativity in solving problems or generating improvement ideas Able to prioritize competing or conflicting requests Must exhibit strong communication skills Supports and maintains positive attitude across all levels of the organization Leads an outsourced delivery team Must be able to lead and assist with prioritizing work for the entire team Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture to drive successful project outcomes Customer Success: Collaborate with business partners and Scrum teams to understand their PLM requirements and provide expert guidance on implementing solutions in alignment with business goals Address user concerns, provide regular progress updates, and ensure customer satisfaction Responsible for working with Scrum teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that address business demands and are aligned with corporate initiatives Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce best practices in PLM delivery and documentation standards for all relevant solutions Ensure that standards are adhered to, and that documentation and change control processes are followed across the applications organization Provide functional and technical guidance for decisions made regarding our PLM landscape Seek to use best practices, standards, and the right partners and vendors to provide solutions to meet Bose’s business objectives; ensure that the team also follows the same standards. Qualifications: Proven experience in a global company with extensive third-party logistics and contract manufacturing Experience in working with outsourced delivery teams Proven experience as a Windchill PLM technical lead (5 years) Strong understanding of ERP (similar but not limited to: SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or Workday Financials) environments and integration points with PLM systems Scaled Agile Framework Certification (desired) B.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or relevant work history) Thorough understanding of IT governance and PLM best practices Skills: Ability to think strategically and lead others to do the same Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Strong communication skills, written & spoken with the ability to effectively understand and explain complex technical issues Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, issues, and challenges Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience Bose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
