Working as a member of the Senior Human Resources Leadership Team in your choice of locations; either in our Headquarters in Framingham, in either of our Hub locations in North America (Atlanta or Detroit) or in our Operations center in Portugal, you will have a unique opportunity to partner with the business leaders and Human Resources to truly shape the HR technology that both enables a world-class employee experience, but also enables our HR teams to deliver world class HR services.
About The RoleAs the Director HR Technology & Analytics, you will deploy advanced, digital technologies to automate work, provide workforce data insights, and to enable workforce planning. You will own HR’s technology strategy and suite of technology tools, driving the connection between systems, data, content, compliance, and customer interactions to enable a seamless employee experience.
You will report to the Chief People Office of Bose and will partner with many stakeholders. First and foremost, you will be an integral member of the global HR team and will need understand both current and emerging business needs to help ensure that we are maximizing the utilization of existing and future technology to deliver our services. Additionally, you will partner with Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure we are leveraging efficient delivery of services to employees wherever possible, while also working with IT to drive continuous improvement and technology enhancements and external vendors to implement, maintain and propose future tools where needed.
This is a new role at Bose, where part of your early responsibilities will be defining the scope of the function for the future and building out a new team. We believe that this role will eventually have oversight of new roles such as product owner(s) and data analyst(s) in the reporting structure. However as a first step, we invite you to join, assess the organization and business needs, and work together to propose future resource(s).
ResponsibilitiesLeadership:
  • Lead HR product manager(s) who oversee the HR Technology portfolio. Includes overseeing upgrades, analyzing risks, assessing new release features, and leading projects to adopt new functionalities or change existing processes
  • Lead data analysts who oversee strategic workforce planning and workforce analytics. Includes overseeing development of reports and dashboards to empower Business HR and business leaders with reliable, on demand, talent data
  • Advise senior leaders on new HR technology platforms and HR technology trends. Provide research, cost-benefit analysis and recommended direction with alternatives to achieve both long- and short-term objectives
Strategic
  • Enhance and manage HR technology systems, services, and processes to meet workforce needs and create opportunities for automation, enhanced integration, reduction of manual processes, and quality improvement
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive milestone plan for the technology portfolio to monitor overall progress (with focus on budgets, key milestones, resources, and dependencies). Lead release management for cloud applications.
  • Build cross-functional relationships across HR, GBS and IT to innovate, build, and sustain HR tech
Operational
  • Utilize workforce analytics to provide insights into workforce trends and issues. Recommend strategic solutions to address trends and issues.
  • Drive digital-first operations such as Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and collaborative tools for enhanced efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR process owners to design HR solutions for data and security
  • Assist HR organization in resolving issues with technology, data, and processes. Escalate to IT as needed
Key Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead cross-functional IT, operational services, data management, or HR technologies team
  • Proven ability to build relationships in complex, highly cross-functional, multi-country environments
  • Demonstrated success in bringing together multiple interests and competing priorities through strong influence skills
  • Strong customer service and employee experience mindset
  • Expert knowledge of data analytics, data mgmt. processes, reporting, content mgmt., system security. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as chatbots, GenAI, and RPA
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of leading technology projects to successful completion
  • Proven ability to lead by establishing direction, organizing work, and distributing workloads
Qualifications
  • Overall 8-10 years of total experience with minimum 3 years of experience managing global technology and data maintenance teams
  • Expertise with HR systems (Workday preferred)
  • People analytics acumen and ability to drive insight-driven decision making
  • Experience managing customer engagement channels and shared services preferred
  • History of continuous improvement leadership
