q-Health Partners is looking for a medical office biller and collector to support two family practice physicians who have just joined our practice.
At q-Health Partners, you will have a chance to showcase your experience and your organizational skills as you:

• verify claim documentation and review for appropriate coding;
• scrub, correct, and send claims;
• confirm claims have been accepted by the payer; and
• follows up on outstanding claims over 30 days in A/R.

In this role, you would be a key member of our team that strives to meet both patient and operational success. Teamwork and the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners is required to be successful in this role.
We are open Monday through Friday and are located in Clear Lake. This position is capable to be fully remote after 6 months.

Requirements

• 3 years of medical office collections, primary care and family medicine preferred
• Familiar with PPO; HMO, Medicare and Texas Medicaid, as well as out of network denials
• Independent and able to account for outstanding A/R with well documented notes
• Ability to prioritize, organize work, and complete assignments in a timely matter
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
