Responsibilities: ​​​​​​

  • Diagnose, install, maintain and repair new and existing plumbing systems
  • Identify potential issues and determine the most effective solutions
  • Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
  • Prepare written work cost estimates for customers.
  • Educate customers on proper maintenance and care of plumbing systems to prevent future problems
  • Maintain accurate records of all service and repairs activities, including materials used and time spent on jobs
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations and advancements in plumbing technology and techniques
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman plumbers license issued by the state of Massachusetts
  • Three (3) or more years experience as a plumber or plumber's apprentice
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to use tablet/smartphone to track orders, jobs and work performed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
