Boston City Properties is a real estate brokerage that services all of Massachusetts. Our company was founded in 2007 and is a leader in the Boston area real estate industry. We currently have 2 offices in Massachusetts: 1 in Boston, 1 in Amherst MA. We're currently hiring students for 2024-2025 in both our Boston and Amherst offices.

We're currently hiring aspiring commercial real estate agents to join our team and we have a successful commercial real estate agent internship program to help get there. A Massachusetts real estate license is required as students will be helping with showings, answering calls and interacting with buyers/sellers/renters across Massachusetts. The hope we have is that the students will come back on as a full time commercial real estate agent (or residential agent) upon graduation.

Some of the tasks include:

• Vetting incoming commercial real estate leads. The leads are typically clients that are looking to lease office space, retail space, lab space, restaurants across the Boston area. There are also large multi-family / mixed use commercial real estate investment leads that come through.
• Students will then connect the lead with a commercial real estate agent in our office. Students will be able to shadow our busy commercial real estate agents on showings.
• Students will prepare inventory reports for our agents and clients
• Students will prospect for commercial real estate listings via several methods such as cold calling. We have several big investor clients that are constantly looking for off-market properties.
• There are also options to help out our residential real estate agents with showings for condos, houses & apartment rentals.

This is a paid internship with a small weekly base commission. Although not the norm for student interns, we have had students make $20,000-$30,000 just in the summer in our Boston office in prior years. This was because we gave the option to take on apartment renter clients while working the commercial real estate internship. We do have students that stay with us year round and try to help out on school breaks.

Boston City Properties is now part of the Amo Realty brand, a national boutique-style brokerage with offices in 12 states. We are also hiring commercial real estate interns in some of our other offices across the U.S., including New York City, Chicago, Florida, Seattle, Rhode Island, Connecticut & Atlanta.

We are currently interviewing candidates who either have the MA real estate license or are currently attending the MA real estate class.
