We have an opening for the position of Career Development (CD) Expertise Senior Specialist for our managers in the Consulting Team in the Central Europe region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Central Eastern Europe). You will be responsible for steering the entire CD process for this cohort, which includes preparing and following up on the quarterly CD meetings in close collaboration with the Talent Specialists in your team. You will also be responsible for organizing the meetings and coordinating the composition of committee members.
In your role, you will act as a CD expert and business partner for the committee and work closely with the chair of the committee as well as the Talent Management Director, the CD Chairs, and your CD colleagues from the other countries. You’ll be an important sparring partner for the Talent Specialists, e.g., when answering CD-specific questions, and you’ll ensure the consistency of CD-related processes and guidelines in the committee. You will ensure that best practices are synergistically linked and you will be responsible for the process of preparing the election of the Managing Directors and coordinating the bonus process.
You’ll collect input from all Managing Directors about their senior people twice a year, to be included in the discussions during CD meetings. Staying connected with other HR functions such as Global CD, Human Resources for the Consulting Team, Mobility, or Expert Career Track, you will align on processes and make sure we follow global guidelines and adjust to local requirements where necessary. As part of the CD Expertise unit, you will also be involved in strategic projects such as overall capacity planning, our female initiative, and reporting. In your role, you will functionally manage team members from your region on a deputy basis.
