Boston Consulting Group is Hiring a NAMR People Analytics - Data Engineer Near Atlanta, GA
What You'll DoJoin our North America (NAMR) People Analytics team as a Data Engineer and become a cornerstone in the evolution of our analytics capabilities at Boston Consulting Group. In this role, you will design and build the infrastructure that powers our journey from automated reporting to deploying advanced analytics solutions, including personalized reporting driven by tools like predictive models and LLM architectures. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and data requirements
Design and implement data architectures that support scalability and future growth
Develop robust ETL processes in our Snowflake Data Factory using dbt, integrating data from diverse sources both internal and external
Create tools and processes for data integration, transformation, and the operational deployment of ML/AI models
Innovate and enforce data security measures, including row-level security and data tokenization
Continuously identify and resolve data integrity and quality issues
Equip end-users with the tools and knowledge to access and manipulate data effectively

You are skilled in:
Database management and modeling techniques
Comprehensive data cleansing, curation, and harmonization to support analytics initiatives
Advanced data engineering practices, including feature engineering and data productization
Implementing descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics
Robust coding practices for modular development, pipeline automation, and integration
You Bring (experience & Qualifications)In addition to the skills/strengths identified above, candidates must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
2-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer in a commercial setting delivering analytics solutions
Experience working with Agile development methodologies and ceremonies
Fluency in SQL-based technologies (e.g Snowflake, dbt) and NoSQL technologies (e.g. Neo4j)
Fluency in Python
Commercial experience supporting deployment of machine learning algorithms (ML Ops)
YOU'LL WORK WITH In this role, you'll work with diverse teams across functions, geographies, or business units depending on project needs. Key collaborators include:
The Advanced Analytics cadre within the NAMR People Analytics Team to drive end-to-end analytics solutions
The Business Analytics and Enablement cadre to manage and deploy analytics innovations
A broad spectrum of professionals from the global Data Factory team and NAMR People Team, contributing to strategies that influence the North America Leadership Team
Additional InformationCOMPENSATION INFORMATION:Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below. Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
In California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, the base salary is between $90,000- $ 110,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
