Reports to: Senior Director of Succeed Boston @ the Counseling and Intervention Center
The Program Director of Restorative Practices (Program Director) will be a highly motivated energetic administrator who is a visionary leader with a clear understanding of restorative practice and its implementation within the BPS setting. This position sits within the structure of Succeed Boston, the district’s Counseling and Intervention Center. The Program Director will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary District teams to develop the vision for restorative practices work and design an implementation plan. This plan, based on recommended best practices, review of research and analysis of data, will create safe and welcoming spaces in our schools that allow for equitable access to instruction for all learners. The Program Director will guide and support the work of the 9 regional RP/SAWS Specialists as they support the district’s regional model of support. The Program Director will work closely with the Senior Director of Succeed Boston to ensure alignment with current District and State mandates and to facilitate an approach that is inclusive of the culture and climate work currently being implemented through Succeed Boston.
