The Laboratory Technician will perform and oversee laboratory activities including ordering, inventory, shipping, laboratory communications, interface with BU regulatory staff. They will also carry out experiments by working with another lab member on a major project. The research project will involve wet lab work, such as cell culture, molecular biology, immunochemistry, or cell biology.

• Oversee lab activities including ordering, inventory, shipping, laboratory communications, and interfacing with BU regulatory staff. No true supervisory duties, but the individual will provide guidance and day-to-day supervision of student employees and graduate students in the laboratory.
• Carry out laboratory experiments. Some of the work requires independent judgement/decision making; more complicated tasks will be done with guidance from senior trainees.
• Perform molecular cloning and cell culture.
