Position Summary:

We have an opening for a dynamic and self-motivated Associate Cloud Engineer. This role will have a heavy focus on automation in a SaaS-based environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Working closely with the other Cloud Engineers to automate application and platform deployments.
• Problem diagnosis and resolutions
• Automation of important operational processes
• Participating in after-hours-on-call rotation

Desired Skills:

• Enthusiasm for automation
• Eager to learn and develop skills.
• Experience with scripting languages: Bash, Ruby, Perl
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Basic problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with a team to identify and resolve issues.
• Comfort working with the Linux command line.
• Experience with some of the following tools is a plus: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Capistrano, GitLab, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science related field or equivalent work experience
• 1 to 3 years of experience configuring and maintaining middleware and web/application environments.
• 1 to 3 years of previous systems, application, or DevOps experience
