Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $60,756.00 - $74,136.00 Annually
Tentative Hiring Timeline:
- Phone Screening: Week of July 8th
- First Round Interviews: July 15th
- Second Round Interviews: July 22nd
- Language Proficiency Test (if applicable): July 22nd
- Reference Check: Week of July 22nd

- Technical Support and Services to classroom staff, including but not limited to curriculum development and implementation, coaching and mentoring staff to ensure high quality teaching practices.
- Supervision of all site staff including Kitchen Aides.
- Co-create goals for all direct reports and schedule monthly check ins on these goals and classroom operations.
- Yearly performance evaluations for all direct reports
- Collaborating with full, and site-specific, Integrated Services team to ensure all Head Start Program Performance Standards are met.
- Ensures strong communication throughout the program and site location.
- Ensure site compliance with all CDHS Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulations
- Performs related work, as required
- May be reassigned in emergency situations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Boulder County is looking for well qualified candidates to fill our positions. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood education/special education, family studies, or related field at least three years of professional lead teaching experience in a preschool setting, and two years of supervisory experience
• Applicants must pass a background check and fingerprintingSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Supervisory experience in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- Current MyTeaching Strategies Inner-Rater Reliability for Preschool, including Dual Language Learners and Children with Disabilities
- Current Directors License from the State of Colorado
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and Medication Administration
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Access to reliable transportation that is readily available for business use
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Preschool CLASS Observer certification, or attainment in the first year of position
- Ability to work in diverse and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous Head Start experience
- Knowledge and experience in curriculum planning and implementation, developmentally appropriate practice, trauma informed care, supporting children with disabilities and culturally responsive care.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, other employees, county staff, community agencies and the public
