Boulo is helping our client, a private solar energy company located in Asheville, NC, recruit for a Sales Coordinator to join their team.

Employment Type: Full-time

Flexibility: In-office with family friendly work culture

Pay: $20-25 per hour

They offer energy solutions for homes, farms, small businesses, and other commercial properties through designing and installing solar electric systems (rooftop or ground-mounted), battery backup systems, EV charger stations, and providing maintenance work.

Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator serves in an administrative support role for the organization. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, engaging with new prospects in a timely manner, and setting appointments and expectations about the sales process. They help foster a long-term positive impression of our organization within the community by being informative and honest with everyone they interact with.

Job Responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator:

  • Administrative & Customer Experience - Answer and direct incoming phone calls (leads and non-leads) to appropriate person/departments and take messages as necessary; Manage primary email account and route/respond to emails in a timely manner, Support the Marketing, Development and Sales teams with the email marketing program; Attend scheduled Marketing, All-Staff meetings, and select special events; Manage customer service and communication related to non-sales coordination with clients; Provide excellent customer service and assist in tracking, documenting, and resolving customer concerns
  • Sales Coordinating - Receive company leads via phone or email and follow up in a timely manner, Schedule initial appointments for the sales team and potential clients, update the calendar, and ensure automated email goes out to new lead, Process, follow up, and qualify leads by collecting information and validating home and/or business specifications from potential customers, Report metrics (current leads, appointments set, etc.) on a weekly and monthly basis to the Director of Marketing and Development.
  • Internal Marketing and Development - Work under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Development and Insightly Admin on special non-recurring and ongoing projects including but not limited to event support, apparel and inventory tracking, CRM (Insightly) support & management for Marketing & Sales departments to fully utilize the software

Requirements of the Sales Coordinator:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and knowledge of multi-line/cloud-based phone systems
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
  • Experience using CRM software preferred
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Past administrative experience is a plus
