Job Description: We are looking for experienced Servers/Bartenders to join our team at Chez Lafayette. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a strong knowledge of food and beverages. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by providing attentive and friendly service.

Server Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Provide detailed information about our menu, including daily specials and promotions.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and service, addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work atmosphere.

Added Responsibilities for Bartenders:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Many of the Following Traits:

• 2 Years previous experience as a server or bartender in a high-end restaurant or bar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Cajun and Creole cuisine and beverages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with grace.
• Be at least 21 years old and possess a valid food handler's and alcohol server's permit.
• Have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
