Bourne Group is Hiring a Customer Liaison Near Mount Pleasant, SC

Bourne Group is a fast growing company that specializes in the design, manufacturing and installation of interior products and signage for the marine industry. This includes the cruise industry, offshore industry and the commercial industry.

Bourne Group is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a customer liaison. This position supports the manufacturing process by organizing and monitoring work flow, quoting potential orders, communicating customer demand and assisting in maintaining basic office systems. The employee must maintain a professional attitude at all times as they work directly with customers to solve problems and supply order information. This position requires flexibility and adaptability as customer requirements and production deadlines can be very tight. Attention to detail, as well as a willingness to work hard and well with others will help benefit the candidate’s long term growth at Bourne Group.

Responsibilities:

  • ● Serves as the main point of contact with the customer regarding all safety signage requests. Enters andprocesses all inquiries and purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring the customer receives goods asrequested.
  • ● Responsible for ensuring the product is quality controlled and fully accounted for throughout the process.
  • ● Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information andanalyzing needs. Attract potential customers by answering questions and providing appropriate solutions.
  • ● Assist other departments, as time permits, with basic administrative tasks as required.
  • ● Commit to the Bourne Group core values and best practices. Always encourage and facilitate continuousimprovement philosophy.
  • ● Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • ● Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professionalpublications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Knowledge and Skills/Attributes Required:
  • ● Equivalent to completion of bachelor’s degree, supplemented with additional specialized training in sales/customer service.
  • ● Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • ● Ability to manage process improvement and change.
  • ● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • ● Effective time management (ability to multitask) and logical decision-making.
  • ● Being able to self-start and self-motivate when there is no one available to provide instruction. Capacity tohandle pressure.
  • ● Excellent attention to detail.Salary:

Salary would be commensurate with experience
