A construction contracting firm in Escondido, CA is seeking a sharp and reliable Construction Office Administrator to join their team! They are on the lookout for someone with at least 1 year of construction experience who is punctual, adaptable and tech-savvy enough to learn ERP systems like Sage300 to ensure smooth office operations by supporting construction project administration and performing other clerical tasks. Salary Range: $24 - $28 / hour DOE
Construction Office Administrator Requirements:
  • 1 years of construction office experience (e.g., receptionist, office manager)
  • 2 years of overall work experience in an office/clerical/admin role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to review construction contracts and insurance certificates
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn ERP systems (training provided for Sage 300)
  • Experience with Sage 300 is preferred
Construction Office Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Perform office clerical tasks, including handling and coordinating mail, filing, ordering office supplies, and maintaining a clean front office space
  • Assist with reviewing contracts and project-related paperwork
  • Ensure insurance renewals are completed on time
  • Support new hire onboarding, including handling paperwork for approximately 2 new hires per week
  • Answer phone calls from employees and clients, providing excellent customer service
  • Organize files and submit certified payroll reports weekly
  • File preliminary notices and handle other administrative duties as needed
