A growing travel agency specializing in corporate and leisure travel arrangements is seeking a Leisure Travel Agent to join their team! They are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience, specifically booking airline, hotels and car reservations for leisure travel and are proficient in SABRE. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a passion for travel, who enjoys providing excellent customer service and desires a supportive, flexible working environment. This is an independent contractor position that offers a lucrative commission structure paid monthly and comes with great travel perks which can include free trips and hotel stays from vendors!
Salary Range: Commission-only based on revenue generated
$10-50K in revenue is 60% commission
$50-100K in revenue is 70% commission
$100K in revenue they would have 75% of commission aka $75K
$150K in revenue they get 80% commission
Paid on a monthly basis
Leisure Travel Agent Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a travel agent
• Proven book of business (BOB)
• Experience with SABRE is preferred
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and ability to handle pressure and unexpected circumstances
• Bachelor s Degree is preferred but not required
• Must be able to work EST time zone hours

Leisure Travel Agent Responsibilities:

• Handle client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
• Book travel arrangements including flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and activities
• Manage travel insurance requirements and obtain necessary waivers
• Send out invoices to vendors and ensure the company receives payment
• Provide invoices to the company accountant for payment processing
• Utilize SABRE for booking and reservations (training available if needed)
