A boutique-style healthcare staffing company is actively seeking a Staffing Coordinator to coordinate immediate healthcare staff for hospitals and nursing home facilities in NJ. They are looking for someone with a background in the healthcare staffing industry to work directly with healthcare directors, administrators and clinicians to schedule nurses across different healthcare facilities in response to client needs that change from day-to-day, week-to-week and month-to-month. You can look forward to a friendly, fast-paced office that will keep you on your toes with no two days ever the same and room for growth in the company!
Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 / year DOE
Staffing Coordinator/Manager Requirements
  • 2 years minimum of staffing experience in a fast-paced setting
  • Healthcare staffing experience is required
  • Experience in staff coordination across multiple locations with a strong ability to track and manage schedules is preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail for client and staff scheduling
  • Demonstrated capability in process improvement for staffing efficiencies, with a knack for creative problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to manage complex scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at working collaboratively to meet client needs
  • Proficient in scheduling software (Snap) and technology (Vonage) is preferred
Staffing Coordinator/Manager Responsibilities
  • Schedule over 120 nurses across hospitals and nursing homes, ensuring staff aligns with client needs
  • Work directly with nursing directors, hospital administrators, and clinicians to understand and fulfill staffing requirements
  • Manage fixed and flexible nurse schedules, responding to client needs as they change from day to day, week to week, and month to month
  • Quickly adapt staffing strategies to meet the dynamic needs of clients, ensuring continuous service quality
  • Use Snap Schedule software for precise scheduling and tracking, and Vonage for effective instant communication with healthcare facilities
