Overview: Boviet Solar is a global Tier 1 solar technology company that specializes in the manufacturing of solar cells and PV modules. We’re looking for a Logistics Manager for our plant in Greenville. This role is responsible for customs clearance, and logistics of the company's import and export products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for commodity inspection procedures, commission the forwarder for import and export customs clearance, ship booking, and domestic logistics, etc.
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of import and export documents, timely follow-up of bills of lading and insurance policies, and responsible for document delivery under the letter of credit.
• Responsible for the notification of domestic and foreign shipment and receipt information, track the implementation of import and export orders, and notify the arrangement of goods into the warehouse or trucking.
• Responsible for the check and reimbursement of all import and export freight and miscellaneous charges, and inland transportation fee.
• Responsible for plan development and deployment management of import and export and inland logistics of the materials, products, all kinds of appliances.
• Responsible for the negotiation of logistics prices, the management of logistics suppliers, and the coordination with procurement personnel.
• Responsible for budget and control of warehousing and logistics cost, preparation of logistics plans for receiving and shipping goods and corresponding arrangements, scheduling and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Nice to have Customs Broker License.
• Familiar with import and export operations.
• Deep understanding of requirements for import and export customs clearance documents.
• Deep understanding of international payment requirements for import and export customs clearance.
• Knowledge of customs laws and regulations.
• Strong freight settlement skill.
• Familiar with characteristics of products and categories and performance of raw materials in solar industry.
• Proficient with broad use computer applications such as MS Office and specialized applications as needed for job.
