Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily restaurant operations, provide leadership to staff, and ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation and service to ensure quality and consistency

- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain high levels of satisfaction

- Conduct interviews, hire, train, and supervise staff members

- Assist with staff on-boarding and off-boarding processes

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Implement and maintain restaurant policies and procedures

- Assist in scheduling and managing shifts effectively

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Respond to all Google Reviews with appropriate responses and in a timely manner

- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business goals

- Streamlining the café processes to improve the guest experience

- Oversee all financial responsibilities, including inventory, ordering, managing labor targets, and negotiating with vendors

- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor

- Identify opportunities to expand business and sales through menu offerings, events, maximizing use of venues and space, and additional business-driven ideas

- Leverage community engagement and involvement within the local community to grow the business

Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum of management experience

- Previous experience in the food industry, including food and coffee preparation and customer service

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

- Knowledge of POS systems and shift management procedures

- Experience in kitchen management is a plus

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
