System Administrator – Managed Services Engineer

We are a Cloud, Cyber Security, Managed Services company. We recently landed a private investor and the plan is to rapidly expand nationwide (they just wrapped up their first merger/acquisition with a Cloud Service Provider in Baltimore). Our HQ is in Cranbury, NJ with an office in Manhattan. This ad is for a System Administrator – Managed Services Engineer and will be based in Cranbury, NJ.

System Administrator – Managed Services Engineer is responsible for working in a support, projects, and junior vCIO capacity.

• Be part of proactive service delivery team – perform ongoing technical analysis against our standards and verify systems and best practices implemented by other departments
• Create and maintain technical relationships with our clients and work closely with the vCIO team to roadmap technology solutions
• Develop, document and maintain technical knowledge of client environment
• Level 2 knowledge of Microsoft Server solutions such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, clusters, etc.
• Level 2 networking and security skills – next-gen firewalls (SonicWALL preferred), AV, CFS, routing, switching, network access control systems, WiFi
• Microsoft, Cisco, SonicWALL
• The System Administrator – Proactive Manager Services Engineer has a career track to vCIO or Project Engineer
