Boyd Metals is Hiring a Truck Loader Near Fort Smith, AR

**Job Overview:**

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Truck Loader to join our team. As a Truck Loader, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient loading of trucks within our warehouse facility. Experience in the steel industry a plus but not required.

**Duties:**

- Load and unload trucks with accuracy and efficiency

- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments

- Operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in quality control procedures

- Experience with warehouse management systems

- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics

- Ability to operate RF scanners for inventory tracking

- Certification in forklift operation is a plus

- Proficient in utilizing forklift and overhead crane operation for loading and unloading tasks

- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles

- - Experience in shipping and receiving processes

- Capable of heavy lifting as required
