Boyle Construction is Hiring a Project Manager Near Allentown, PA
ResponsibilitiesThis position reports to the Director of Operations and the Project Executive. A Senior Project Manager and Estimator will plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Estimating and Project Management
- Quantity Take-offs
- Negotiating and writing subcontracts and purchase orders
- Project Scheduling
- Chairing Project Meetings and recording meeting minutes
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, as well as on site field supervision
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Assisting and attending sales call meetings
- Generating business
- Attending various business functions
- Periodic site safety inspections and PPE enforcement
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry is required.
- Construction Management Degree preferred.
- Combination of both design and field experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of costs, schedule, and sequencing with design experience.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Project scheduling desirable.
- Very strong English oral & written communication skills are a must.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety laws
- Knowledge of permitting, review, and inspection process
- Ability to forecast scheduling challenges and present possible solutions.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize projects, work against deadlines and organize workflow with multiple interruptions.
- Procore Project management software experience is desirable.
- Ability to work in an environment which may include fumes, odors, chemicals, sawdust, and ash.
- Ability to work in an environment with noises in the range of 30-85 db.
- Ability to walk up and down steps, climb ladders, staging and scaffolding.
- Ability to sit or stand in a stationary position for approximately 50 percent of a workday.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle.

- Yearly employee reviews and salary increases are typically done each year.
- Merit bonuses are typically distributed each year if financially possible and feasible and at the President’s sole discretion.
- 401K plan with a current employer match of 30% up to the first 6% of the employee’s contribution. There is a 6-month waiting period with 6-year vesting schedule.
- Profit Sharing Plan – Contributions vary year to year based on profitability of the company, at the Principal’s sole discretion. This plan has a 6-year vesting schedule.
