Camp Lovejoy, a Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady summer day camp program, is looking for someone who is organized, passionate, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with children. The Video Production Instructor will plan and implement a program that will teach youth the general filming, editing, and video production technology to create a movie or short clip.

Camp Lovejoy is located in the beautiful Helderberg Mountains of Altamont.

The camp season runs from July 1st 2024 til Aug 16th 2024. Day camp running from 9am-4pm

There will be mandatory training prior to camp that all personnel must attend.

Daily tasks include:

• Running a VP Camp that will engage and teach campers hands on Video production skills
• Working with youth to develop storyboards, script writing, and train on how to use equipment properly
• Creating and implementing age appropriate lesson plans.
• Directing camp personnel.
• Maintaining facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Providing campers and counselors feedback and guidance

Qualifications:

• Have experience in the related field.
• Experience working with Green screens and video production technology
• Ability to provide a safe, fun, and creative environment for campers.
• Have the ability to communicate positively with diverse age groups.
• Experience working with youth preferred
• Must be at least 18 years olds
