Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Youth Development Specialist. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing programs and activities that promote positive youth development. Your day-to-day tasks will include creating and delivering educational programs, providing mentorship and guidance to youth, assisting with program planning and evaluation, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Experience in Positive Youth Development and Youth Development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of educational principles and practices
- Experience in training and facilitating group activities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of youth
- Passion for working with young individuals and making a positive impact
- Experience in a similar role or in the nonprofit sector is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
