Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site safety and possess knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare detailed reports
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as workers' compensation, occupational health, and EHS
- Collaborate with construction management to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety
- Utilize construction management software for tracking safety data and incidents
- Monitor and ensure compliance with NEC regulations and other relevant codes
Skills:
- Proficient in construction site safety practices and protocols
- Familiarity with construction management software for safety reporting
- Understanding of occupational health principles
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards
- Experience in compliance management within the construction industry
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and requirements
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of commercial safety experience
- Ability to identify and correct safety deficiencies in the field
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
