Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Wash Bay Supervisor to join our team at Brad Deery Motors Inc., a leading automotive dealership in Maquoketa, Iowa. As the Wash Bay Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our wash bay and ensuring that all vehicles are properly cleaned and detailed to meet our high standards. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry and you will be reporting to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train a team of wash bay technicians to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of vehicles.
• Develop and maintain cleaning procedures and standards to meet our customers' expectations.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed for the wash bay.
• Ensure that all equipment is in proper working condition and schedule regular maintenance.
• Conduct quality control inspections of vehicles to ensure they are cleaned to company standards.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager to schedule vehicles for cleaning and detailing.
• Manage the wash bay schedule and assign tasks to technicians.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns related to vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
